This comprehensive course will focus on harm reduction, patient education, and identifying and assessing opioid misuse. Students will review integrative case studies and emerging research.

Through a blend of recorded lectures and a live session, participants will assess opioid therapy risks and benefits, conduct interprofessional risk assessments, and create individualized care plans.

This course includes self-paced content and one live, virtual session with pain management experts.

- Employ strategies that enhance communication with patients and the care team about pain and opioid use to assist with navigating through challenging patient encounters
